MFW has been very quiet.
What plans do you have for your writing this spring & summer?
Reading? Finishing a manuscript? Starting a new one? Attending a conference?

For me, I have a stack of novels I want to get through. I'm reading 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon, which is over 700 pages, and 'Jamaica Inn' by Daphne de Muir. The writing is amazing and I'm learning so much from these writers....and getting inspired.

I have an interview scheduled to come up in May with Diana Gabaldon. I'll put it in Stepping Stones Magazine for Writers, but also plan to submit it for publication to Writers Magazine. They are a paying market, and it would be nice to get paid for the interviews I've been doing. I've searched for a Christian magazine that pays for CBA author interviews but have had no luck.

I am working on a manuscript titled 'Beside Two Rivers'. Setting: Near Harpers Ferry, along the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and then England. I'm presently a little over 200 pages.

I'll work on submitting 'Surrender the Wind' out to literary agents. I'm considering submitting to Avon's Inspire line, but would prefer an agent first.

So that's it for me...I think. What about you?
